Leah McSweeney Just Created a Fashion Scholarship for the Next Gen of Streetwear
The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur wants to empower the next generation of streetwear designers.
If you've been dreaming of a career in the world of streetwear fashion, then we have some very good news for you. Leah McSweeney just announced a brand new scholarship fund created to empower the next generation of budding streetwear design talent. The Real Housewives of New York City newbie took to Instagram to share the details of her latest initiative.
"I have NEWS!!! I am super-excited to announce The Leah McSweeney Streetwear Essentials Scholarship!" the Married to the Mob designer explained in her caption on July 8. "Empowering the next generation of streetwear is something that I am super passionate about and this scholarship can help make that happen."
The scholarship is offered by Leah in conjunction with educational platform Yellowbrick and Parsons The New School. According to their website, the "aim is to empower students who are passionate about streetwear to pursue rewarding career opportunities that can spark their interest and open doors to a fulfilling future."
