Quincy Morgan Nails Cozy Weekday Style in Her Mom Sonja Morgan's Old Sweater
The Real Housewives of New York City alum's daughter showed how she can make the most of a hand-me-down.
On Wednesdays, Quincy Adams Morgan wears pink ... sweaters that used to be owned by her mom, Sonja Morgan, that is.
On April 4, the college student took to her Instagram Stories to share almost two weeks of looks. Among the casual, cute, and Saturday-night-ready glam styles she sported, we couldn't help but notice how, on Wednesday, Quincy pointed out she was wearing a piece that used to be owned by The Real Housewives of New York City alum.
"[Mom's] old sweater," Quincy wrote over the mirror selfie in which she donned a hot pink sweater with a zipper v-cut neckline. The New York native paired her look with light wash slightly baggy jeans from Free People, rounding out her cozy mid-week style with white socks and mauve-colored fuzzy sippers.
More photos from Quincy's weekday outfits included a burnt orange mini dress with a cross halter neckline by Coperni (here in black $403) for "Sorority date night" plus an all-black Thursday look that included a turtleneck sweater by TSE ($525), wrap cargo skort by Bershka ($35), Sheertex tights ($59), knee-high Stuart Weitzman boots, and a gold necklace.
Quincy went on to share her dazzling going-out style on Saturday with a sparkly green/gold sequin crop top ($296) and matching trousers ($279), pairing the look with chunky black platform heels by Steve Madden ($140).
As for Sunday, Quincy kept things casual yet still fashion-forward in a cream-colored cardigan with pink print and light wash baggy cargo jeans, both by Free People (similar style here). The UPenn student accessorized with white sneakers by Gola ($110) and a blue handbag by Simon Miller.
Quincy's sweet sweater nod to Mom made us think of Sonja's tender tribute to her daughter earlier in March. To celebrate Mother's Day a little early, Sonja took to her Instagram on March 15 to share a rare snap with Quincy.
“I can’t believe [Mother’s Day] and [Easter] is just around the corner!” she wrote. The pair looked uncannily alike, but this wasn't the first time we noticed such a striking resemblance.
In 2022, the pair hit the New York premiere of Downton Abbey: A New Era at the Metropolitan Opera House. Quincy rocked a strapless shirt, black pants, gold sandals, and a small black quilted Chanel purse while Sonja also looked beautiful in a sparkly black minidress with fringe trim, which she coupled with chunky black heels.
