Ramona Singer Is Undergoing a Procedure to Make Her Legs Look "Ageless"
The Real Housewives of New York City skincare maven is taking her spider veins to task.
For Ramona Singer, "ageless" is a major buzzword. The Real Housewives of New York City beauty buff is the first to admit that she looks younger than her 63 years, and she's also pretty open about the maintenance it takes to maintain her youthful appearance.
In addition to touting her own skincare line (it's no coincidence that it's called Ageless by Ramona), the New York mom just dished on a procedure she got to make her legs appear younger. Or, as Ramona said in a recent Instagram Story: to make them look "as ageless as possible."
The Story showed Ramona in the office of cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Howard Sobel. "Because I always wear heels, and I'm getting a little older, I have some veins that are popping out of my leg that I don't like," she said. "So, I'm here to fix that."
The doctor was on standby with an injection, which he said would hurt just a teeny bit. We're guessing Ramona was about to undergo Sclerotherapy, which is described on Dr. Sobel's website as: "the easiest and most effective spider vein treatment and requires no surgery."
The site goes on to explain: "A sclerosing agent is injected into the vein and causes the targeted vein to immediately shrink and then dissolve over a period of weeks as the body naturally absorbs the treated vein."
