Bethenny Frankel Had This Response After Twitter Questioned Her Food Allergy Claims
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul replied to a Twitter follower who called out apparent inconsistencies.
Bethenny Frankel's challenges with food allergies are well known: She survived a near-fatal allergic reaction late last year after eating soup that she didn't know contained traces of fish, and in the months since, she's encountered other dangers and some scary lingering symptoms. In fact, her fish allergy is so severe, she had an intense reaction — which she documented in photos — after a friend who ate lox for lunch gave her a kiss.
As she's been public with these struggles, The Real Housewives of New York City pal has encountered her share of haters — and responded as only Bethenny can. Now, she's responding with calm and candor to a Twitter follower who promised their intention was not to come at her as a "hater" — but to get the answer to a legitimate question.
"Bethenny, not being a hater, but how are you eating a seafood tower if you have a deathly seafood allergy?"
And Bethenny had an honest answer at the ready that both clarified the question — and shut down any whiff of doubt. "I am deathly allergic to fish, not shellfish," she wrote, "but I have since stopped shellfish because of cross contamination."
And there you have it. Any other questions?
