Bethenny Frankel's Grocery Haul Reveals the Truth About Her Diet
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul inadvertently shared the key to sticking to a diet.
You can learn a lot about a person (or at least about the way she eats) by peeking into her grocery cart. For example, we now know that Kate Chastain keeps it "casual" on a Monday with Veuve Clicquot and Belgian cream puffs. And after getting a look at Bethenny Frankel's recent grocery-store loot, we've seen proof that she sticks to a healthy diet by letting one principle lead: balance.
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul shared a photo from her trip to the store on August 1. In the snap, which features her daughter, Bryn, passing the time in line by reading a tabloid, we got to take a voyeuristic peek at all the items Bethenny was taking home.
And while most of the items were of the heathy and vegan variety — think mashed cauliflower, almond-milk yogurts, and riced vegetables — the Skinnygirl founder did sneak in some indulgences as well. Her order also contained a chocolate bar and some sorbet, and we think we spot some gelato in there as well.
See? It's all about balance. And in fact, Bethenny once said: "I don't promote people going and eating fat-free foods. I promote them eating a smaller amount of a quality food, of a full-calorie food. I eat pizza, I eat French fries, I just don't binge."
