Last month, Bethenny Frankel wrote on Twitter that she was worried sick about the family of dogs she had recently rescued in Puerto Rico with the help of The Sato Project. The dogs were alive and together — but she wasn’t sure if they were carrying distemper, or other fatal diseases, that would prevent them from being adopted.
Yesterday she announced in an Instagram post that the puppies — whom she named Tree and Blanco — were declared “healthy & happy & disease free.” They’re ready to travel to New York soon, where they will be placed in forever homes. No word, however, about their parents, who were rescued with them.
Bethenny was so elated at the news about the puppies that she was able to brush off (former?) friend Carole Radziwill’s biting blog post, in which she insinuated that Bethenny was shameful to other women.
“It’s ok. Everyone goes through their stuff,” Bethenny wrote in response to @GinnyDeegan, who mentioned the blog in a Tweet. “Focusing on getting my PRican pups home healthy.”
In the meantime, in celebration of her recent accomplishments, Bethenny has dubbed herself the “Duchess of Dog Poop.” “It represents my look & mood at times & I think I can represent that area well,” she noted to followers.
She asks what other users think their royal titles would be. Here at Unleashed, we’d be the Stewards of Bravo Pets. Or the Dukes of Cute Animals on Instagram. What would your title be?
