Gina Kirschenheiter Just Moved Into a New House, and Her Ex Matt Was There to Help
The Real Housewives of Orange County pal got a surprising assist.
Gina Kirschenheiter is on the move! After listing and unlisting her family property for sale, The Real Housewives of Orange County pal has finally left the Coto de Caza home she shared with her ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter in search of a new chapter elsewhere in the OC. But she hasn't exactly left everything behind.
"New house....fresh start but yet Matt and his parents are always there for me and us," she wrote in a sweet Instagram post that shows her ex and his dad hanging up a frame on her new wall together. "#foreverfamily #familygoals #loveandsupportthroughthebestandworst," she hashtagged the post.
After Gina decided to file for divorce from Matt last year, the former couple listed their Coto de Caza home for sale for $975,000 and then pulled it off the market in the fall, citing a lack of buyer interest.
"I decided to take my house off the market because nobody wanted to buy it," she revealed to Home & Design at the time. "It was just kind of sitting. I think I missed that window — where we are it’s super suburban and people need to be in their houses where they’re gonna be to time it with kids going to school, and I really should have put it up in the spring, and I put it up in the summer and I think it was just too late. We really weren’t getting any traction and we thought rather than just let it idle we’ll just take it down, and then we are gonna put it back up this spring. I want to sell it, I want a fresh start."
So, when's the housewarming party?
