See Inside Heather Dubrow's Garage, Which Has a Dumbwaiter AND a Disco Ball
The former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is showing off her garage.
There’s no question that everything about The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Heather Dubrow’s house is insane — in a good way, mind you. From the vast open kitchen to the sleek bar to the luxe bedrooms, there was no expense spared in making everything as stylish and functional as possible. And the same goes for the garage. Yes, the garage.
Heather and husband Terry put just as much thought into it as they did the rest of the house. So not only does it have spiffy, polished, concrete floors to welcome vehicles, it’s got oodles of storage, a ping pong table, a dumbwaiter for delivering grocery bags to the kitchen, and even a disco ball.
Heather recently provided a tour through her YouTube channel Heather’s Closet and we’ve got all the pics. Let’s check it out.
Yes, Heather conducts the tour in a leopard print catsuit, which we hope is constructed in a breathable fabric. "I was kind of going for a Khloe [Kardashian] vibe, but I think I look like Peg Bundy, I’m not sure.” Don’t let that distract you from all those closets.
Heather uses them to store everything from holiday goods to kids memorabilia to wedding photos. There is even a place to stash her wedding bouquet. "It's like a dried hideous mess," she says. "It's in there though."
Heading over to a workstation featuring thumbprint artwork of each family member (watermarked for privacy), Heather points out a key feature of the garage. "I had this desk put in because this is where the kids do their messy projects. You know what I'm talking about — slime. This is like a slime station all day."
Heather added a ping pong table to the garage so the family can get a quick game in before going into the house. "Ping pong is a big deal in our family. We like to have ping pong wars."
Next up, the ballet bar. "This is our ballet bar. Why you ask? I don't know. I just always thought it would be fun to have a ballet bar in the house," Heather says. "And now a couple of the kids are dancing, which is great, and I started taking ballet. But I'm really bad at it and completely not flexible."
Heather's garage is set up to easily transform into a dance floor for kids parties. And, she adds, "What's a dance party without a disco ball?"
Last, but certainly not least, Heather never has to worry about schlepping her grocery bags up to the kitchen when she comes home, because this electric dumbwaiter does the work for her. Now that is luxury.
