A Year After Breaking Ground, Megan King Edmonds’ Mega-Mansion Is Almost Ready
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum takes us inside her dream home.
Meghan King Edmonds has been all in on constructing a new home in St. Louis that features all the amenities that she and her former pro baseball-playing husband, Jim Edmonds, and their three kids could want, including a bowling alley, a basketball court, and a batting cage.
On Tuesday, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum did a walk-through of some of the construction and shared peeks on her Instagram Stories, which she often uses as a polling tool for design advice. For example, she asked if she should put hardwood floors or carpet in her gargantuan dream closet (where she and husband Jim have date nights) and people overwhelmingly said hardwood floors.
"Thank you to everyone who responded to that poll, because I care what you think!" she said.
She showed the main floating staircases being built in her entryway, and joked, pointing at the space between railings, "I hope my kids don't fall between there!" (Don't worry, they're installing safety railings later.)
"We are in the final phases of building!" she wrote on Instagram. "Everyday something new has been installed and after over a year after breaking ground it finally feels like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m standing in the family room off the kitchen (on the right of this pic), this is the space we will spend the majority of our time and I will share photos from this exact spot. It’s crazy to think about!"
Looking good so far, Meghan! We can't wait to see how you decorate the place!
