Meghan King Edmonds Has a Seriously Gross Problem at Home
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, who is staying in New Orleans during her son's treatment, documented the disturbing tale.
Meghan King Edmonds is currently spending an extended amount of time in New Orleans with her son Hart, who is undergoing treatment for a brain injury and is currently receiving hyperbaric oxygen treatments. While down south, Meghan is staying in a lovely home, with soaring ceilings, a beautiful kitchen… and a bit of a pest problem.
In a series of hilarious posts to her Instagram Stories, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed to her nearly 1 million followers that she had found cockroaches in the home.
“This morning I found 4 cockroaches in my New Orleans house,” she wrote. “If I’d known New Orleans cockroaches were the size of dinosaurs, I’d never have come here. Thank goodness I have a veteran roach picker-upper aka Tulane grad student/fellow St Louisan/St Louis neighbor who has been hardened to the presence of these abhorrent flying roaches.”
As the high-drama story unfolded, Meghan showed her assistant Anna casually pick up the carcass of a cockroach and dispose of it — much to Meghan’s appreciation! “I am not worthy of Anna (and the roach corpse was not worth of her),” Meghan explained. “I would never ever put up with me if I was in her shoes so hats off to Ms. Anna Bax of St Louis, aka Ms Roach Morgue."
Um, thank goodness for Anna, because like Meghan, we, too, have a severe aversion to cockroaches. Yuck.
"And all good (and bad) things must come to an end. This whole episode lasted less time than it took you to reach my comments BUT my fear of cockroaches has not lessened (much to Hart’s chagrin and to Anna’s detriment).”
Here’s hoping that’s the last of the cockroach sightings for Meghan and Anna!
