Shannon Beador is on the move once again — but make no mistake about it, this time it’s on her terms. Since downsizing from her massive, 13,000-square-foot mansion in Crystal Cove, California several years ago, Shannon has moved in and out of a series of rentals. Until now, that is.

The Real Housewives of Orange County mama recently revealed to Home & Design exclusively that she is setting down roots in a new seven-bedroom home right after Labor Day and explained why this newest house (which is also a rental) is going to be great for herself and her three daughters.

“I had five days to find a house after David and I separated, so it was just, like, the only one available,” she explained. “And it was OK, but I just… I didn’t feel a comfort there. It didn’t feel homey to me. But this new house — the kids love it, and I think it’s gonna be a really happy place for us.”

What else sets this property apart from her previous pitstops? “I do feel like this next home is something that’s mine,” she said. And that’s an accomplishment to be proud of! To see more of Shannon’s journey, tune in to RHOC on Tuesdays at 9/8c!
