Lydia McLaughlin's DIY Project Has Her Attempting to Wallpaper Her Home
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is taking matters into her own hands.
Lydia McLaughlin and her husband Doug McLaughlin publish a luxury magazine called Nobleman, but The Real Housewives of Orange County alum definitely isn't afraid to tackle her own home decorating projects herself. She posted her latest DIY adventure on Instagram Stories — wallpapering her house! Why spend thousands of dollars to have a professional do something you can just execute yourself for a fraction of the cost?
"Have you wallpapered before?" she asked in an IG Stories poll, offering the answer choices of, "Heck Yes" and "You Crazy Girl." As of press time, 73% of respondents said, "You Crazy Girl!"
But wallpaper she did, and she truthfully did very well with it.
"I'm basically now an interior desinger [sic]," she misspelled, showing off her new white wallpaper with green leaves. She only showed it off briefly, but it looked great.
Lydia announced in February that she wouldn't return to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“I need a break!" she wrote in a blog post. "There is a lot of good that comes from the show, but also a lot of negativity. After a family vote, it was unanimous that I should take a break. Sometimes the people who love us the most see things even we don’t see. I trust my path and I’m excited for what the future holds.”
