We May Not See Gina Kirschenheiter’s Husband Matt in RHOC, But He’s a “Poop and Vomit Expert” Behind the Scenes
He sounds like a great guy to have around in a pinch.
It's pretty much a universal truth: Divorce is a drag (and then some.) Since filming for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 began, newcomer Gina Kirschenheiter has filed for the big D with her soon-to-be ex-husband Matt. Now, the Long Island native is having to adjust to having her husband around less frequently.
As Gina confessed to her mother on a recent episode of RHOC — and as any parent can attest — parenting solo is one tough gig. When chatting with Personal Space, Gina elaborated on some of the more unsavory aspects of parenthood that Matt previously handled. And let's just say: her husband sounds like a good guy to have around in a pinch.
"My husband is like a poop and vomit expert," she told us. "He really is ... He’s that guy that comes in and there will just be a poop massacre ... and I’ll come in and he’ll be like scrubbing the clothes ... you know I would just throw everything out, so you know he really is not afraid to get into some deep situations."
Deep, indeed! But, Gina still has a few parenting tricks of her own up her sleeve, and she's learning more all the time. "There are so many things that you learn along your journey to becoming a parent. I mean my mantra to parenting has always been really high levels of patience and really low expectations," she said. "It’s just kind of something that I’ve always been saying and I believe it to be true. And it’s something that I’ve been telling new moms or moms-to-be."
