Blind date can now officially be checked off my list. Tom was incredibly nice, and we laughed a lot. I am excited for the dating process down the road. That being said, I am not ready to move into a relationship so soon. It will happen with time. And FYI, I didn't know that my ankle was sprained at the time, which explains my stupid decision to wear some of the highest heels I own.
It's always fun to see Dr. Moon. He literally has the healing hand. My ankle definitely felt better after seeing him and Vicki's swelling went down as well.
I feel badly that Gina and her husband are separating. It's always heartbreaking to hear about a marriage and family breaking up. We all go into the process with the best intentions. I am hopeful for Gina and her children's sake that she and her husband will be amicable.
I was very taken aback that Gina was somehow throwing blame on me for the argument between Emily and Kelly at Eddie's birthday party. Kelly was determined to speak to Steve that night and after getting to know her pretty well over the last few years, that means that Kelly was going to speak to Steve no matter what. I did my best to keep Kelly calm so that she could convey her feelings and be heard. I did not "send her in." Kelly sent herself in. But this kind of reminds me of last week where Gina told Emily an inaccurate statement that I was concerned for Emily's marriage when that was never the case. Spoon meet pot-- and Gina is the one stirring you.
And stay tuned because the pot stirring only continues. Until next week...
