Miraval, the RHOC-Loved Resort, Is Opening in... the Berkshires!
The wellness retreat featured in Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County is opening shop in Dorinda Medley's favorite Massachusetts spot.
Many The Real Housewives of Orange Country fans know Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa as the site of a wellness trip that featured cast members Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke engaging in spreading rumors, explosive fights, attempts to mend friendships, hot tub fun, skinny dipping, and even some beekeeping.
Fans who watched the drama unfold also got to see the property's stunning amenities, which include three serene pools surrounded by palm trees for privacy, a variety of villas, rooms, and suites, an award-winning spa, and breathtaking views surrounding the entirely of the resort.
Adding to the flagship Arizona and recently-opened Texas locations, the Miraval brand is set to expand with a third property, Miraval Berkshires, in May 2020. According to the website, Miraval Berkshires is spread across 380 acres in New England and boasts an 18-hole golf course, an apiary, gardens, an equine center, and two pools: one indoor lap pool and outdoor lounge pool. The new location will also house the largest of the brand's famous Life in Balance spas, which will feature quiet rooms, relaxation lounges, steam rooms, saunas, an indoor to outdoor spa pool, hot tubs, and an indoor water treatments room.
A digital device-free environment, the resort is set to offer guests a wide range of wellbeing activities including lectures, hiking, climbing, yoga, biking, meditation, energy work, nutrition enhancement, interactive cooking classes at the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen outfitted by Williams Sonoma, and more.
While the RHOC cast members are familiar with Miraval after their eventful stay at the Arizona property, the Berkshires hold a special place for The Real Housewives of New York City cast. Dorinda Medley's Berkshires vacation home has been the backdrop to some of RHONY's most memorable moments, including Luann de Lesseps' refusal to sleep in the home's "fish room," Luann and Bethenny Frankel's explosive fight over the invention of the Skinny Margarita, and Dorinda screaming her now-iconic line, "I decorated, I cooked, I made it nice!"
