Braunwyn Tries to Prep Amid Coronavirus Scare: "It's Not Going Well"
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member was shocked by the absence of hand sanitizer at her local store.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke was ready to prepare for the worst. Unfortunately, it seems a few other shoppers had the same idea.
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member headed to a grocery store with a friend on Wednesday, March 4, and documented the shocking experience on her Instagram Stories. Many notable retailers have been out of stock of cleaning supplies as of late due to the worldwide fears surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), and it appears Braunwyn's store of choice was no exception. As the duo looked around an aisle of the store, they both declared: "Shelves: Empty. Hand Sanitizer: Gone."
"Preparing for Armageddon," Braunwyn captioned the video. "It's not going well."
Braunwyn isn't the only Bravolebrity attempting to stock up on the essentials in case of emergency due to the virus. Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul took a trip to Costco on the same day, giving her Instagram followers a peek at her version of necessities: an abundance of Charmin toilet paper and three bottles of Veuve Clicquot. She wrote alongside the photo: "Getting prepared in case the corona virus hits."
This may have been one of multiple trips for Patricia. When a commenter wrote that they hoped she "got the caviar and water crackers too," Patricia quipped: "I got that yesterday."
In addition to her frantic shopping trip, Braunwyn also recently gave her Instagram followers a peek into an everyday frenzy within her home. In a video, three of her kids seven kids with Sean Burke played on the floor of the kitchen while two others stood over the countertop. She referred to the moment as "dinner time chaos."
