Braunwyn Opens up About Bella's Boyfriend Living with Her Family Amid COVID-19
"He does the dishes and teaches karate," The Real Housewives of Orange County mom said of her houseguest. "We like him around."
As she self-isolates with her family, Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been sharing videos and updates about what the gang of nine is up to. Make that: gang of ten. While The Real Housewives of Orange County mom and her husband Sean famously have seven kids, there seems to be an extra one milling around their house these days.
But before any followers could accuse her of not taking social distancing seriously, Braunwyn (who was raised by two doctors, mind you) used her Instagram Stories to explain the extra houseguest.
Seated at the kitchen table with her daughter Bella and Bella's boyfriend Douglas, Braunwyn shared this PSA: "I know I'm going to get like a thousand DMs, so we decided that since Bella's in college and her and Douglas, they still really like each other, he's actually staying with us 'til this [pandemic] is over. So don't DM me 100 things, no visitors, we get it. We decided as a family that it was better to have an extra person living with us than to deal with Bella, for six weeks, without him."
Plus, Douglas is pretty handy around the house. "And he does the dishes, and teaches karate," Braunwyn pointed out. "So it's a win for everyone." She added in her caption that Bella's beau had been staying with them, at that point, for 19 days. In another caption, she wrote: "He's super helpful and we like him around."
It's lovely to see that Bella has found love again. Not long ago, the college student shared a snap of a care package her mom had sent her at college, and it was filled with "break up food."
