Braunwyn Windham-Burke Proclaims "Strong Is My New Pretty" in Beach Bikini Look
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom of seven is done with trying to be "skinny" this summer — and we're here for it.
Even while in self-quarantine, Braunwyn Windham-Burke is giving us the best summer body motivation we could ask for — and it's not the kind you're thinking of. Just recently, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom of seven proclaimed that she is, in fact, officially going to "stop trying to be skinny" and instead focus on being "strong" after wrestling with body negativity for decades. Now, the OC blonde is sharing an adorable beach-side snap while out and about with her youngest that has an equally powerful message.
"Strong is my new pretty," Braunwyn wrote on April 27 alongside her Instagram Story. In the shot, Braunwyn rocked a coral bikini bottom with a coordinating printed rash guard and a rainbow-hued visor. Naturally we're impressed with her fit physique after having seven children, but we're more taken with her new approach to appreciating her body.
"I've decided to stop trying to be skinny and to start being strong," she wrote in her Instagram Stories on April 16. "I've hated my body for decades and I'm tired of it, I'm done."
