Emily Simpson is continuing to open up about the ups and downs of her fitness journey. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently took to Instagram to share more details about how she stays motivated to work out.
On October 9, Emily shared a photo of herself working out with weights on a beach. “Success will never come find you ... you have to go out and get it! Just remember a month, a year, five years etc will pass by regardless....so you might as well start now!” she wrote in the caption.
Emily went on to reveal what inspires her to stick to her new healthy lifestyle. “Motivation comes from you and only you. So dig deep, remember you are worth it and also remember getting healthy and strong is a journey,” she explained. “There’s no magic pill. Just the magic of you.”
When it comes to eating healthy, the mom of three acknowledged that some days are better than others, also thanking her trainer for helping her stay on track. “Thank you to [Paulina Stein] for always being my partner on this journey. And for forgiving me when I mess up eat burritos and iced coffees for three days in a row and gain 5 pounds (it happens),” she stated.
Earlier this month, Emily opened up about the foods she always keeps stocked at her home. "I don't count calories...that's too much work for me," she revealed on Instagram. "I just keep staples in my refrigerator at all times: ground turkey, spinach/lettuce, eggs, avocados, tomatoes, shredded carrots, black beans, corn tortillas, salsa [,] vegan cheese (I avoid dairy)...etc."
