The Real Housewives of Orange County mom surprised Gina Kirschenheiter, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Shannon Storms Beador amid self-isolation.
A simple trip to the grocery store is not so simple these days. So while her friends try to parse out their visits to the outside world during the COVID-19 crisis, Emily Simpson is keeping them supplied with fresh produce that comes right to their doorsteps.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom has long been a fan of Moon Goat Farms, using her feed over the years to showcase its goodies. Moon Goat Farms' bakery supplied a winsome unicorn cake when Emily's daughter Annabelle turned 6, and also turned out the dreamy pink cake Emily had for her 44th birthday.
The company also has a fruit and vegetable stand, which makes weekly deliveries throughout Orange County. And in the past few days, Emily signed three of her pals up to receive some of that freshly picked produce. In their Instagram Stories, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Storms Beador all showed off the goods that Emily had surprised them with.
In Braunwyn's Stories, she announced: "I got all this delicious fresh food just now from Emily and Moon Goat Farms ... So now I have some really fun, fresh veggies, and I want to do something really cool tonight!" She added: "I have a lot of beans; I have a lot of rice. I was thinking a soup, but let me know if you have any other suggestions. This is like a cornucopia of food here and I'm so excited to cook something fresh and delicious for the kids." It looks like soup wasn't in the cards: Later, the mom of seven showed off a gorgeous homemade eggplant lasagna.
Meanwhile, Shannon's Stories showed her opening the door to find a produce-packed box on her front doorstep. "How nice and thoughtful is this?" she asked. She then showed off Emily's handwritten card, which read: "Shannon + Family: Stay healthy + enjoy! Xoxo Fun Emily."
Gina called the delivery a "beautiful surprise!!!" She added: "The little things feel so good during times of stress. Love you Em."
