Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered on June 7, and plenty of laughs and a bit of conflict took place between returning ’Wives Shannon Storms BeadorHeather DubrowGina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson. Moreover, the ladies welcomed a new ’Wife, Jennifer Pedranti, and welcomed back Tamra Judge.

How to Watch

Of course it wouldn’t be a premiere episode without a Housewives party, and it wouldn’t be a Housewives party — an RHOC party — without some champs and small bites.

There is, however, an unspoken rule of Housewives parties that Gina revealed in the premiere episode, and it’s one that was unfortunately broken pretty early on.

The moment happened when Gina, Emily, and Tamra gathered to discuss Tamra and Shannon’s recently strained relationship. After an outdoor yoga class, the ladies grabbed some drinks and appetizers, and Gina and Emily attempted to convince Tamra of building a bridge back to Shannon.

Drama, of course, then ensued.

Gina and Emily tried to make peace in the group

“Do you feel like… are you gonna have a conversation with Shannon?” Gina prompted Tamra, who seemed a little hesitant to fully jump into trying to mend her friendship with Shannon. Emily then entered the chat to further convince Tamra to consider a one-on-one conversation.

“You know what I think you need to do? I think you need to have a conversation with her,” Emily shared. “I think you need to tell her exactly how you feel and then you say, ‘This hurt me, you hurt my heart,’ you know what I mean?”

“She should hear that,” Gina added. “If you’re saying, ‘You hurt my feelings,’ she should hear that.”

Just then, Shannon appeared between the two women. “Oh, is this [about] me?” she asked, stepping in. “It wasn’t bad, though!” Gina clarified.

Gina commented more about the unintentional eavesdropping moment in a confessional. “The problem is we broke a cardinal rule: Never talk sh-t by the food!” Gina hilariously quipped, noting that Housewives need to pay attention when dishing amongst themselves!

What’s next for Gina Kirschenheiter?

When Gina isn’t giving us all the best confessional takes on RHOC, she’s working on the next big step in her career

“On the heels of Mother’s Day, I am especially excited to share this big news!!” Gina captioned a May 16 Instagram post. “Being able to provide for my children is my number one priority. I am very excited to announce that I am embarking on a new adventure as I recently acquired my California Real Estate License!”

Emily wrote in the comments how “proud” she was of her bestie, while Tamra — who announced in 2020 that she was going back to her real estate career — echoed those sentiments, writing, “So proud of you.”
