Meghan King Just Bought a "Perfect" New House in St.Louis: See Inside
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum gave a tour of her "beautiful" new abode — and clarified exactly who will be living in it.
Meghan King is making big moves back to her hometown. "I did a thing! I bought a house!" The Real Housewives of Orange County alum announced in a recent Instagram post. "Closing was outside in a parking garage and I signed 748 papers on the hood of my car... it was a very Covid closing and certainly one to be remembered."
Purchasing the St. Louis, Missouri, house was a major accomplishment for Meghan, who explained in the caption, "It’s the first house I’ve owned all by myself!"
In a separate Instagram post, Meghan gave a video tour of the empty abode. "I haven't moved yet," she explained. "I don't have my kids today for the first time in a long time so I feel like I can breathe and do a couple of things."
As she walked through the home, Meghan showed her new powder room, laundry room, and office, which she noted she was "really excited about having doors on." While the house doesn't have a "formal dining area," Meghan has already started to create her own dining space with the purchase of a new table and a plan to add eight chairs around it. Meghan also showed her new outdoor space, which includes a "cute" screened-in porch and a "tiny little yard."
The abode seems to be Meghan's ideal home as she starts a new chapter. "It's totally manageable. It's a good size. I have everything I need, not one thing extra, not one thing short of anything I need, so it's perfect," she said. "I'm really trying to simplify my life, get rid of stuff ... There's just so much to do. I'm feeling really overwhelmed, really blessed, really happy. I work hard and I'm happy that I can provide a beautiful home for my children. "
However, it seems even the "perfect" home can be improved. As Meghan walked through her kitchen, she explained, "I think I'm gonna make this island bigger," and as she looked around her bedroom and bathroom, she mused, "I'm going to make a lot of changes. Lots of color changes, design changes, doing some reno changes." In addition to transforming her basement into a TV area and playroom, Meghan also plans to build a gym within the "huge space."
While answering questions from her followers, Meghan clarified exactly who would be living in the gorgeous house. "No one's moving in this home except for me, [teacup Goldendoodle] Girly Girl, Aspen, Hart, and Hayes," she said. "That's it. That's everyone who will be living in this house."
