Meghan King Explains the Sweet Reason She Decided to Darken Her Hair Color
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum felt she should "talk the talk and walk the walk" with her new hair hue.
Meghan King just switched up her hairstyle with a small change that has a big statement behind it. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom headed to the salon to for a little upkeep, and she decided to get a new, darker hair hue for an unexpected and very adorable reason.
On September 8, Meghan shared a few short clips on her Instagram Stories explaining why she went with the subtle, moody shade, and her explanation was touching. In the video, Meghan fluffed her fresh, shoulder-length waves as she sat in her car rocking a massive pair of sunnies.
"Got my hair done! What do you guys think?" she asked in the clip while flipping her side-swept hair back and forth. "My stylist called it brownde because I wanted to go a little bit darker." Turns out, the lowlights and deeper color are all due to her daughter Aspen.
"Aspen's now asking me, 'Why don't I have blonde hair, Mommy? I want blonde hair like you.' I tell her you're beautiful just how God made you... as I go get highlights in my hair. So, thought I maybe should talk the talk and walk the walk."
