Tamra Judge Gave Her Mom's Fireplace an Incredible $30 "Facelift" (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared impressive before-and-after photos of the budget-friendly home upgrade.
Tamra Judge doesn't only sell houses — she also knows some affordable hacks for jazzing them up. For proof, look no further than her mother Sandy's fireplace, which Tamra recently redid on a shoestring budget.
In her Instagram snaps, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared before-and-after photos of the D.I.Y. project in her mom's condo. Describing her "$30.00 fireplace facelift," Tamra detailed her steps: "Painted the old brown travertine white, then stenciled a Spanish tile pattern in chalked aged Gray paint and carried the gray up the wall," she wrote. "Gave this small space a focal point." And there's more D.I.Y.-ing in the works. Tamra added: "Next comes wood floating shelves and new logs."
It seems that Tamra has a long past with stenciling. In the comments, her son Ryan Vieth wrote: "remember when you would stencil everything." Tamra responded: " I was waiting for your comment. I [haven't] stenciled in 20 years." But based on these photos it looks like she's still got it:
