Tamra Judge Adds Dramatic Black Walls to Her Covenant Hills Home
The RHOC alum was "not afraid" to paint her dining room and powder room walls black.
Tamra Judge is making major changes to the look of her Covenant Hills home. "I was bored and this wall's been bugging me. I just felt like it was too plain in my dining room 'cause all my walls are white," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum said in a recent Instagram Story video. "So I did a little accent wall, painted it black."
As Tamra filmed, she made it clear that the DIY paint job was a work in progress. "I can't undo my curtains," she explained. "So I have to wait until the center dries, push over the drapes in the middle and do the outside. So far, so good."
As it turns out, the black paint isn't exclusive to her dining room. "Not afraid of black walls at all," Tamra wrote in an Instagram Story. "Painted my powder room black when I remodeled."
Tamra recently transformed the exterior of her house as well. In October 2020, she shared a photo of the abode's new white paint, writing: "Bye bye yellow house."
After moving back to the home (which was previously occupied by renters) in 2020, Tamra and Eddie Judge immediately got to work on renovations. Tamra documented the process, revealing in March of that year that she was putting in lighter flooring throughout, removing arches in the kitchen, updating the laundry room with black-and-white patterned tile, and gutting her bathroom and closet to create one suite. "I’m absolutely obsessed with it," she said at the time. "Still need window treatments, rugs. The shower came out amazing, and uh hello, the closet!”
