Shannon Beador Reveals What Helped Her Lose Weight for Good

Recently, Shannon Beador had gotten into the best shape of her life. How did she do it? The trick for Shannon was not not working out — but, "diet, diet, diet, diet, diet," she said. And her positive changes allowed her to lose the 40 pounds she'd been yo-yo-ing for years.

But The Real Housewives of Orange County mom has hit a bump in the road: filming the new season.

Sharing a series of selfie video clips from a walk with her dog, Archie, Shannon confessed, "OK, Season 14 is a wrap. It's been a whirlwind of a month, and I haven't had time for this exercise nonsense. So i'm back at it with my partner. Say hi, Arch!"

She explained that the most recent culprit was the wrap party. "The last night of filming — actually the whole last weekend — I just celebrated, ate what I wanted. At the finale party, we had a donut wall."

But it's all about accountability: "I'm not gonna lie, I had three. I had three Krispie Kreme donuts!"

Is Shannon feeling defeated about her food choices, though? Nope — because she knows healthy lifestyle changes must be approached more like marathons than sprints if they're really going to stick.

"But that's OK. It's all good," Shannon said. "You have to celebrate life! And I don't do it every day. I'm gonna be exercising with my walking partner, Archie. So it's all good!"
