Tamra Judge Shares "Horrible" Memory of Eating Too Much THC With Eddie: "We Were Spinning Like We Were on Acid"

The Real Housewives of Orange County entrepreneur and husband Eddie learned their cannabis lessons through experience.

Tamra Judge may be the successful entrepreneur behind her VENA Welness CBD product line — has been open for business online since January, and was feted with a May party packed with her pals from The Real Housewives of Orange County. But that doesn't mean that she and husband Eddie, VENA co-founder, haven't hit a few cannabis-related hiccups along the way...

When Tamra sat down with The Feast at Bravo HQ in NYC, we asked her if she'd ever had a memorable experience with eating THC. (To be clear, THC is cannabis' psychoactive component, while CBD does not have psychoactive properties when consumed.)

"Oh yeah," Tamra told us. "I got a good one for you..." So buckle up.

"One time, Eddie and I were home alone and he’s like, 'Hey, would you like one of these?' And I'm like, yeah. So I ate one. And I'm like, I really don’t feel anything — so I ate another one. And I said, I really don’t feel anything. So I ate another one."

Can you see where this is going?

"We were eating them together. This is like in the middle of the day. And the next thing I know, we literally passed out in bed, woke up at 7 o’clock, and I jump out of bed because I knew that Spencer was going to be home from school and I was going to make dinner or something," Tamra told The Feast.

"So I jump out of bed and the whole room is spinning. I literally grab onto the railings, walk downstairs, and we look at each other — and I’m like, yeah, I'm not making dinner... and I don’t want my son to see me like this. So I went back upstairs and went to bed."

"It totally spun me out so bad!" she told us. "It was horrible."

And it wasn't just Tamra who overdid it — it was Eddie, too. "We both — we were idiots. We didn’t know what we were doing. We kept eating it and eating it and before we know it we were spinning like we were on acid or something, and trying to climb down the stairs and act like were totally normal. Like when the kids come home, we're like yeah, we're good! No, we’re not gonna fool 'em."
