The O.G. of the O.C. can definitely throw down when it comes to cooking! Vicki Gunvalson spent hours in her Barbie dream kitchen to create a feast of comfort foods this weekend, whipping out the special spread in honor of Mother's Day. The Real Housewives of Orange County mom made some tried-and-true recipes, including baby back ribs, cheesy grits, baked beans with ground beef and bacon, roasted sweet peppers and homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, according to her drool-inducing Instagram Stories recap of the menu. And she also challenged herself to try a new culinary technique just for the occasion.

"Our first time using the smoker for these chickens," she captioned a picture of whole chickens dressed in herbs. "Hope they turn out as good as they look."

Indeed — just take a look at these beauties:

The mom's proud celebrating wasn't just on the big day, and it wasn't just over food either: Vicki paid tribute to daughter Briana Culberson just before Mother's Day with a sweet tribute in honor of Nurses Week.

"So proud of my beautiful daughter Briana who followed her dream and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in less than 4 years," she wrote on Instagram. "Despite her recent diagnosis of lupus, relocating several times and having 2 beautiful boys she has remained passionate in her career in the ER. I love her more than words can say and am so proud of her strength."
