Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant Use These Easy Makeup Tips to Make Their Eyes Pop

Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon may not agree on everything. But, the two beauties know that green eyes not something to take for granted, and both prioritize playing up their peepers. The Real Housewives of Potomac pals recently stopped by Bravo HQ to spill some tips for looking flawless. 

First, let's start with the basics. "Mascara is a must," Robyn told us—but that's not all it takes to get those fluttery lengths. Robyn also wears lash extensions, which she calls a "life-saver for anyone." In fact, lash extensions might be her desert-island must. (Deserted islands have dress codes too, right?) Robyn says that those extensions are all she needs to walk out of the house and feel "decent." 

She's also a fan of dusting on shadows that bring out her eyes' arresting hue. Shades of green, blue, and purple will all do the trick, she says. But, remember to keep it simple when choosing a lipstick shade. "If you put on a bright, bright lip, you distract from the eyes," the special-events pro reminded us. 

Gizelle didn't hold back with the beauty tips, either. The self-described "makeup girl" loves playing around with shadows, and recently mastered the art of the D.I.Y. smoky eye. We have to give her credit—"that's a hard thing to do," Gizelle admitted. She also shared a tip from her mother, who has darker green eyes: any purple or plum shadows will bring out that gorgeous hue. And—just like Robyn—Gizelle places a premium on dressed-up lashes.
