Pregnant Ashley Darby Shows Her Bare Belly: "Getting Some Sun on the Bump"

Some of the things that Ashley Darby's been running into throughout the course of her pregnancy have been less than fun (severe nausea, for example). But The Real Housewives of Potomac mama-to-be is all about embracing the journey, including the little moments on the way. 

Ashley snapped a selfie while hanging out outside during yesterday's beautiful DC weather — and she's got her bump out in the sunshine too.

"I am sitting out here enjoying the beautiful weather getting some sun on the bump because my friend Glenda told me that sunlight while the baby is in the womb is actually good for the baby's eye development," she said in an Instagram Stories video. "Any excuse to be out in the sun is a good one for me! And yes, I am wearing sunblock."

Ashley later pushed back on a few mom shamers over her comment about sunshine affecting babies' eye development, citing an article on whattoexpect.com. "For those who were questioning and actually calling me names, there's your receipt," she joked yesterday in a video.
