Katie Rost sets her own etiquette rules for Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant.
Bravotv.com: What do you think about Karen and Gizelle’s conversation about your behavior at Ashley’s party?
Katie Rost: Karen and Gizelle can do what they want and say what they want. I don't judge. I always own my behavior and have nothing to hide. I also have no problem apologizing for making elders uncomfortable. Gossip is a sin (cue the thunder clap). Etiquette Rule #1: She who is without sin should cast the first stone. Etiquette Rule #2: Walk away slowly and humbly Karen and Gizelle because rule 1 is very much in effect.
Bravotv.com: What was going through your mind when Karen declined to be a part of the planning committee for the Rost Foundation?
KR: When Karen declined to help me with my event I started to think of the next people on the list to reach out to. I kept it moving mentally. I was just sad I wasted a lunch and a cute dress on a "no." However, I understand that Karen's O Gala was her top priority. I respect her dedication to the causes she champions and look forward to seeing her succeed.
Bravotv.com: Do you feel like you have to act like two different people when you’re with the other Housewives versus when you’re just hanging out with Ashley?
KR: I'm not trying to act like two different people. I just think Ashley brings out my more youthful, fun side. The other ladies bring out the "meeting in the principal’s office" side. It's just a different vibe and I try to adjust myself to the energy in the room.
