Gizelle Bryant: That Wedding Was Lit

Bravotv.com: It was heartbreaking to watch you mere hours before Candiace’s wedding calling Robyn and tell her how Sherman would not be accompanying you to the wedding. What was going through your while you were getting ready for the wedding? Did any part of you consider not going to the wedding?

Gizelle Bryant: I was so NOT going to Candiace’s wedding once my date canceled at the last minute. But since I’m a grown woman who wears big girl panties I put my issues to the side to focus on Candiace because it was truly HER day. I’m so happy that I was there, the wedding was gorgeous and the bride was spectacular.

Bravotv.com: What did you think of Cadiace’s big day? And her song?

GB: Candiace had to have HER moment and she took every advantage of it. She has been trying to get an entire room to listen to her sing her entire life so I ain’t mad. A bride can do whatever she wants and we can’t complain even if I wanted to.

Bravotv.com: Were you surprised Monique apologized to you at the wedding?

GB: Nope, not surprised Monique attempted to apologize. She saw herself last year and even she could see that she looked pressed and petty with all of her antics.

Bravotv.com: How did you feel having Juan kind of fight for your relationship with Sherman?

GB: Oh Juan! How do you not love him? Juan wants Sherman around to talk basketball, I get it. But I’ll find someone else for Juan to talk sports with and all will be well.  

Bravotv.com: At the reception we see you go up to both Monique and Karen separately and try to move on with the both of them. Was that difficult to do?

GB: Absolutely not, that wedding was lit. We had so many Fireball shots I would have talked to anybody. Karen knows she loves my tipsy hugs.
