Anyone who has ever been in a relationship with a partner with a totally different taste in food will understand the struggle Ashley Darby recently opened up about. The Real Housewives of Potomac mom recently revealed that her husband, Michael Darby, is unfortunately not a huge fan of one of her favorite cuisines. Luckily, she has created a foolproof workaround to make sure she can enjoy her favorite meal every once in a while.

In a video shared to her Instagram Story on November 10, Ashley explained the hilarious silver lining to Michael being out of town.

“Daddy went to South Carolina because he’s there for a wedding for this week, and I’ll be going down to meet him. On this night, we’re going to have Indian food!” Ashley excitedly shared. “Now, my husband doesn’t have a very good palate for the spices in Indian food, so we don’t typically eat it, but whenever he’s out of town, I eat it."

The expectant mom went on to explain that ordering Indian food has become a kind of tradition in the Darby household, and that she is now looking forward to sharing it with her son, Dean.

"I'm going to share this ritual with my little one," she said. From the looks of the video, Dean seemed pretty excited for their spicy, delicious dinner!

While Indian cuisine seems to be a tried-and-true favorite for Ashley, she recently shared a glimpse at the kinds of goodies she’s craving with baby number two. Shortly after reaching the 20-weeks milestone, Ashley revealed that she can’t get enough of pickles, cookies, and cheese with baked crackers. Yum!
