Ashley Darby Addresses Her Drinking at Robyn Dixon's Holiday Party
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member talked about being "drunk-y and messy" on the shocking Season 5 finale.
On the Season 5 finale of The Real Housewives of Potomac, viewers saw inside Robyn and Juan Dixon's annual holiday party. Spoiler alert: At the open-bar affair, guests were both naughty and nice.
In a particularly sweet moment, Juan knelt down and asked Robyn to marry him. And in a not-as-adorable move, Michael Darby and Chris Bassett had a heated altercation at the bar. At one point, Ashley Darby stepped in to defend her husband, and so did Candiace Dillard Bassett.
Andy Cohen summed it up in just one sentence when Ashley appeared on the December 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. "It was as drunk-y and messy as I've seen you guys!" the talk-show host said.
"It's funny because I hadn't really drank liquor until that night," Ashley replied, presumably referring to the fact that she hadn't been drinking regularly after giving birth to and breastfeeding her baby, Dean.
She continued: "I thought I would be OK, mind you, I was drinking beer and wine here and there. But I really took it to the head with that whiskey. So, it was a little but shaky."
"Yeah, you're a beer girl, from what I can tell," Andy replied.
