Candiace Dillard Basset's Makeup Artist Reveals Her Gorgeous Plum Lip Shade
The Real Housewives of Potomac former beauty queen stunned in her latest interview look with a moody, purple lip.
In late July, Candiace Dillard Bassett churned out an incredible, high fashion photo shoot featuring next-level hair and makeup in honor of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 premiere. And as the season goes on, the former beauty queen has continued to break out show-stopping looks like her most recent interview slay.
In the latest episode of RHOP, Candiace hit the coveted interview chair in an angelic, white lace number paired with the most incredible, bold makeup look. Her eyes were awash with cranberry-hued eyeshadows. Her fluttery falsies were out-of-this-world, and her cheekbones were "chiseled for the gods" (as Candiace would put it). However, her lip color is what really stole the show. Candiace's full lips were topped with a plum lipstick that featured just the right hint of sheen, and apparently, we weren't the only ones mesmerized by this perfect vampy lip.
On November 9, Bravoleb-loved makeup artist Kendell Dempster (the mastermind behind Candiace's glam) took to Instagram to reveal the exact lip shade "everyone is asking about." Dempster posted a photo of Candiace's beauty look alongside an image of the highly sought-after lipstick: MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics in Crowned.
Dempster even shared a dupe for the lip color in case you can't find the same one. He wrote that MAC Matte Lipstick in D for Danger is "exactly like" the shade Candiace wore.
In response to Dempster's post, Candiace wrote, "Thank you! Lol. [Because people] keep asking and I keep forgetting to post."
