Karen Huger Goes Wig-Less and Shows a Rare Glimpse of Her Natural Hair

"I love taking care of my natural hair," The Real Housewives of Potomac grande dame explained in a new wig-free clip.

Karen Huger Natural Hair

The Real Housewives of Potomac's Karen Huger loves to switch up her hair. The socialite and entrepreneur has rocked everything from thick brunette curls to a choppy pixie cut to her signature blonde strands

To pull off these frequent hair changes in a quick and less damaging way, Karen often opts for wigs. In fact, Karen adores wigs so much, she launched her own hair collaboration in December 2019. So, we rarely get to see Karen's natural hair — until now.

After receiving many queries from fans about her real hair, Karen decided to take to Instagram to put the chatter to rest. In a clip posted on March 8, Karen appeared wig-free, giving a full look at her natural mane. Karen's shoulder-length hair was styled sleek and straight and has a beautiful chestnut hue.

In the video, Karen emphasized, "This is my natural hair," as her hairstylist, Steven Thomas, combed through her lustrous strands. She even had Thomas perform a "part test," showing her scalp in the clip for the skeptics.

"Everyone knows, I’m a huge lover of all things involving a fabulous wig! Hence my wig line collaboration... Equally as important, I love taking care of my natural hair," she wrote in the caption. Karen also shouted out Thomas for keeping her hair healthy.

As for why we don't see Karen's beautiful real hair as often, she shared, "I just like being a blonde."
