"I was blessed to bring two beautiful babies into this world and I am so proud of my body and how hard it worked to get Bobbie and Brooks here. Women are badasses!" she wrote in the caption. She then revealed that although she has always been into health and fitness and worked hard to build a strong body, she "could never regain [her] core because [her] abdominal muscles separated from pregnancy." Whitney explained that the separation is medically known as diastasis.
"Even though the separation bugged me and I knew I had hernias from it, I was so scared to get it fixed... until I met [Dr. Nicholas Howland]. I love him so much because he sat with me, listened to my concerns, and helped me come up with a plan to repair my stomach and achieve the results I wanted," she shared of her recent procedure.
In the post, Whitney added a couple of photos of herself in which she offered a peek at her stomach. She donned a gray crop top and matching sweat pants while posing in front of a mirror. "It is hard to believe that this picture is 2 weeks post operation. I am blown away by his work and how fast my body is healing," she wrote. "I know not everyone recovers the same but I have been working [overtime] on my nutrition, activation, hydration, and sleep. I cannot wait to [continue] to see the results!!"
Whitney also made sure to clarify that this was not a paid post. She added, "I just love Howland Plastic Surgery and am so grateful for Dr. Howland."
