Taylor Armstrong Says Brandi Glanville’s Lasagna Was Made with “Raw Meat” and Lemons
“I thought she was trying to poison me,” Taylor said of the questionable meal made by her The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club castmate.
On the June 23 episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club, Dorinda Medley and Brandi Glanville had a competitive lasagna bake-off. The two ’Wives went head-to-head to create the best dinner dish, which resulted in stolen tomatoes, fingers in the food, and a mash-up of very questionable ingredients.
“I think a little crushed red pepper makes everything great, and then I use a mild-sweet sausage,” Brandi explained in an episode interview. “My lasagna is f--king magic.”
Dorinda, however, had a different view. “If mine’s a Monet, hers is like a Basquiat,” she declared. “It’s a little bit disorganized and a little bit soupy, may I say.”
Basquiat or not, a little bit of crushed red pepper wasn’t the only thing Brandi baked into her creation. During the July 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Brandi’s RHUGT castmate Taylor Armstrong didn’t hold back when it came to her thoughts on Brandi’s concoction. “I don’t know what ingredients were in Brandi’s lasagna, but I saw lemons. So, I’m not sure what that was,” Taylor said.
“You saw lemons?” Andy Cohen asked. And Taylor stated, “She put lemon in that lasagna.”
Aside from lemons and red pepper, Brandi had another addition to her dish. “She used raw meat that had been sitting out for quite some time, and I thought she was trying to poison me,” Taylor said. “Then she put lemon in it, and I was like, ‘This is the end.’”
