There's a New Development in Tom Schwartz's Love Life

Tom Schwartz is trading sunny West Hollywood for snowy Steamboat Springs this October.

That's right: the Vanderpump Rules cast member is headed to Colorado along with the rest of the Winter House Season 3 cast. And for the first time in a long time, he's single.

Per his official BravoTV.com bio, Tom is entering the Winter House "ready for a much-needed escape to reconnect with himself."

There's a twist, though. The press release continues, "And while finding a relationship is not on his list of priorities this vacation, he finds himself surprised to be crushing on a housemate while struggling to allow himself to finally move on from his past."

The Winter House Season 3 trailer holds additional details, including the identity of Tom's crush: Katie. More specifically, Tom's interested in Katie Flood — not his ex-wife, Katie Maloney. (As Vanderpump Rules fans are surely aware, Tom and Katie announced their split in March 2022 and finalized their divorce October of that same year.)

The only problem, Tom tells Danielle, is, "Katie's so hot, but I could never hook up with someone named Katie again."

"This is the universe f-cking with me," he adds in a confessional interview. "It's a good joke."

There's no guarantee Tom's going to keep that promise about not hooking up with another Katie, though — especially since Katie is also interested in him. As she puts it, "I'm finding myself attracted to Tom."

However, there may be a catch. According to Katie's own BravoTV.com bio, Tom is "the opposite of her usual type," which leaves her wondering "if she’ll be able to handle such a sensitive guy."
