Famous Chefs Reveal Their Dream Dinner Party Guests

When you're one of the most talented chefs around, you probably have your pick of the litter when it comes to who you'd like to dine with. So when we asked Top Chef Season 14 finalists Brooke Williamson, Shirley Chung, and Sheldon Simeon who they would invite if they could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, we had a feeling they'd come prepared with some pretty epic answers.

And these cheftestants did not disappoint. It seems like they all subscribed to the philosophy that when it comes to planning hypothetical dinner parties, you've got to go Obama or go home. Brooke and Shirley each said they would send an invite to First Lady Michelle Obama, while Sheldon went for the Big Kahuna himself, President Barack Obama, or "Uncle Barry," as he likes to call him. In fact, Hawaii native Sheldon would definitely make the Aloha State proud with his other two picks for dinner party guests: his mom and the late singer Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, who's best known for his ukelele-backed cover of "Over the Rainbow."

As for who else Brooke and Shirley would hope to score a seat with, well, you're just going to have to watch the above video to find out. Be prepared for their answers to fill you up with love, as much as these cheftestants put into their cooking.
