Did you think Gucci Mane would mess around with somebody's buttercream sheet cake? Uh, hell no.
When he married Keyshia Ka'oir with a lavish, $1.7 million all-white reception, the couple sliced into a 10-foot tall confection... with a sword. A sword encrusted with jewels.
Edda's Cake Designs and designer Edda Martinez are behind the cake, which is the tallest the bakery has ever made, according to TMZ. The planning took three months, and execution took three days.
The look included 8,000 handmade sugar flowers and 2,500 Swarovski crystals, which were just for looks and not for eating. Edda's also created the sword.
Sure, the guests at the bash — including Kim Zolciak-Biermann — may have looked uniform in all-white wardrobe, but the cake offered options for every palate: red velvet, amaretto, carrot, banana nut, and Jamaican rum cake.
"Call my reception a gangsta party," Gucci wrote on Instagram.
According to TMZ, BET covered the five-figure cost of the creation as part of the Mane Event wedding special.
