Kourtney Kardashian Whips Up This Healthy "Great Afternoon Snack" by the Batch

Addictive like potato chips, but better for the bod.

When there are kids in a household, parents often fall into the trap of mindlessly noshing all the wee ones' processed junk food. And to avoid going down that unhealthy road, moms need an alternative plan. Are we right, regular mom Kourtney Kardashian?

The reality-show-famous mom of three manages her snack cravings, and avoids the kids' potato chips, by making weekly batches of a better-for-you alternative: apple chips.

And the way she tells it on her app, the sweet and creative snack seems pretty simple to whip up. She bakes thinly sliced apples and adds a sprinkle of cinnamon. "Whenever possible, I like to try to make things from scratch at home," she writes. "Apple chips are so easy to make and are a great afternoon snack." 

So let's see, we've got minimal grease, no weird additives for processing, a totally L.A.-style approach to snacking, and a very festive fall treat indeed. Not bad, Kourtney.
