Brooke Williamson Reveals the One Dish She’d Make for the Rest of Her Life
The Top Chef alum says it's her son's favorite dish.
'Tis the job of professional chefs everywhere to churn out tastebud-busting dishes day in and day out, but do you ever wonder what they enjoy making the most? The dish they’d choose make over and over again for the rest of their life?
Such was the question we posed to Top Chef season 14 winner (and season 10 runner-up) Brooke Williamson when we chatted with her at BravoCon this weekend. And the co-owner and co-chef of six Los Angeles restaurants had an answer that totally surprised us!
“My son is in this really crazy phase of eating egg in a holes for breakfast every morning,” Brooke shared. “And as much as I might to the public show disdain for having to do that every single morning, it really is something that is so lovely to me that he appreciates something so much to want it every day and that’s what makes me want to cook it every day.”
Brooke says that in the end, however, it’s really all about who she’s cooking for. “As long as I’m cooking something for someone who shows true appreciation and desire for what I’m cooking, then I honestly feel like it could be anything,” she said. “Right now, it’s an egg in a hole.”
