Need Wedding Food Inspo? This Is What a Top Chef Is Serving at His Own Nuptials
Not a tired old canape in sight for this Season 15 cheftestant on Bravo's Top Chef!
Bravo's Top Chef alum Tyler Anderson is getting married — and you can bet his reception won't feature any rubber chicken. When the California native ties the knot with Melanie Stepka in September, the wedding guests are in for a treat. Here's what we know so far.
The big event will take place at the Goodwin Hotel in Hartford, Connecticut. And don't be surprised if the 'grams from the bash feature a few flapper dresses and champagne towers: The wedding will take its thematic cues from The Great Gatsby.
When it comes to catering, Tyler — who's been nominated for James Beard awards five years in a row — has got it covered. The chef tapped his own culinary team to handle the wedding eats. (Who better, right, Adrienne Cheatham?)
That means that his wedding guests will get the same treatment (and eats!) as the guests do at his three restaurants: Millwright's Restaurant, The Cook & the Bear, and Porron & Pina.
The latter restaurant is actually in the Goodwin itself. And though we don't know exactly what the dishes will be, consider some of the drool-worthy dishes on the restaurant's menu: Iberico ham, grilled quail with chimichurri, and plank-roasted salmon just to start.
Mazel tov — and bon appetit — Tyler!
