Any good Real Housewife, like the OG of The Real Housewives of Orange County Vicki Gunvalson, loves to travel and today’s Real Shelter Dogs have also put in some miles — although it’s nothing like Vicki’s annual pilgrimage to Andales in Puerto Vallarta. The pups we are featuring today have been rescued from high-kill shelters located in the southern United States and will be traveling to Vermont in search of their forever homes by means of White River Animal Rescue.
White River Animal Rescue, located in White River Junction, Vermont, is an all-volunteer rescue that focuses on saving dogs from high-kill situations; in fact, 92% of the dogs they rescue have between 30 minutes and 24 hours to live. The dogs are yanked from dire situations, fostered in the South where they receive veterinary care, and then the dogs are transported to the Northeast where they go directly to their forever home or are fostered until their perfect partner is found and then they can truly “whoop it up.”
And now meet your Real Shelter Dogs, complete with opening credits-worthy taglines!
