Brittany Cartwright Puts on Makeup with Surgical Gloves Due to This Skin Condition
"Putting on makeup hurt me really bad," the Vanderpump Rules bride-to-be shared.
When Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor stopped by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on December 3 following the juicy premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 7, fans had so many questions for the newly engaged pair. But first, Andy himself had a burning question he just couldn't help but ask.
Referring to the Season 7 scene that takes place in Jax and Brittany's home as Brittany gets ready for work, Andy said: "Brittany, just out of curiosity, can you explain to us why you were doing your makeup and then eating a sandwich with surgical gloves on your hands?" The Kentucky-born beauty was ready to clear up the mystery!
First, get a glimpse of the somewhat odd situation, which saw Jax sliding gloves onto Brittany's hands for her. (Aww-slash-what?, right?)
In response to Andy's question, the bride-to-be said: "Thank you for asking that because I know that's got to be so confusing. I have eczema. So, at that time, it was breaking out on my hands so bad that I had really bad cuts, all over my thumbs and everything, so putting on makeup hurt me really bad. So that was part of Jax's charm was to help me put my medicine [on] ... So I put the medicine on and then if I'm just doing my hair or makeup or anything like that I had to have the gloves on because I had so many cuts."
That explains it! We hope Brittany's dry skin has cleared up — her hands certainly looked lovely when she showed off the Kyle Chan white diamond that Jax put on her finger.
