Jax Taylor Is Getting Botox in His Jaw for a Very Unorthodox Reason
Leave it to the Vanderpump Rules bartender to make a new Botox discovery.
Like several of his Vanderpump Rules castmates, Jax Taylor has a love for Botox. Honestly, we'd probably go as far as to say that Jax's passion for the cosmetic injectable may surpass that of his SUR counterparts. In fact, it was a Botox session that gave Jax a bit of an emotional pick-me-up while he struggled with the loss of his father last December. Now, Jax has found a new use for his go-to cosmetic treatment.
On Wednesday, the SUR bartender paid a visit to doctor Payman Danielpour of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group for a Botox session. But instead of targeting Jax's forehead as he's done in the past, Dr. Danielpour surprisingly treated Jax's jawline. In an Instagram post, Jax explained that this is to "help me stop grinding my back teeth at night."
So how exactly does this work? According to the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, injecting a small amount of Botox into the muscles responsible for moving your jaw can reduce clenching, which causes bruxism (aka teeth grinding).
First, Lala Kent shows us how PRP facials can help get rid of "tech neck" and now Jax shares this interesting Botox hack. The PumpRules crew is seriously ahead of the game when it comes to cosmetic treatments.
