Everything It Takes to Get the Vanderpump Rules Cast Looking Reunion-Ready
The SURvers may be used to looking camera-ready, but preparing for the Vanderpump Rules reunion always requires a little extra effort.
It’s no secret that taping the reunion can be extremely stressful, so feeling confident with how you look can go a long way in getting through it. Ahead of the Vanderpump Rules reunion, The Lookbook caught up with some SURvers (OK, and stalked their social media feeds) to find out exactly what goes into their extensive reunion prep.
Brittany Cartwright
Part of the bride-to-be's prep included working out at Lit Method diligently leading up to the reunion. She also shared she got “highlights a few months back, so they would be perfect for the reunion.” Bradley Leake always cuts, colors, and blow-dries her hair (which she says is her “security blanket”) and had looked at Pinterest for big hair styles leading up to the reunion.
Jared Lipscomb did her makeup and to get her skin on point. Brittany also got a little Botox from Dr. Payman Danielpour and got sprayed at Melrose Tanning Company.
Jax Taylor
Just like his fiancé, Jax also visited Dr. Payman Danielpour to get some Botox leading up to the reunion. And what’s his secret for being so fit? Jax shared the key is to “work out twice a day,” which he does at Crunch Gym and Lit Method. To finalize his look, he got a haircut the day before.
Tom Schwartz
This season, we saw Schwartz step up his grooming game with some man-scaping on his chest, and his transformation didn't end there. Schwartz shared on his Instagram that getting a “fruit enzyme smoothie to the dome” was a key part of his reunion prep.
Skin Camp also shared that Schwartz got its SCULPT Facial Workout, which aims to lift and firm the skin and works to “remove muscle tension and naturally contour your face.” The treatment also includes “Gua Sha sculpting, firming masque and a custom crystal roller for a relaxing finish.”
Kristen Doute
Always an open book, Kristen shared with her Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes look at her beauty routine as she prepped for the reunion. One of her stops was to her plastic surgeon Dr. John Layke for some Botox. Dr. Layke also shared the Instagram Story with his followers and added the caption, “Fun day with the Vanderpump crew getting them ready for their reunion.”
Next on her beauty agenda appeared to be a facial at Skin Camp with Schwartz and Katie, which was also posted on Instagram Stories. Skin Camp revealed Kristen received a GLOW Facial Workout, which focuses on energizing and brightening dry skin. Kristen’s treatment also included a radiance peel, signature lift, contour massage, hydrating masque, and a custom crystal roller to de-puff and soothe. As for her hair, she shared with The Lookbook she mostly leaves it up to her stylist, but she did decide to throw in a weave.
Tom Sandoval
Sandoval is no stranger to looking dapper, so it’s no surprise that he has an extensive grooming routine, most of which occurs the night before. Part of his routine involves a clay mask, shaving, face cream, eye cream, and sunless tanner. And yes, that includes his ankles this year, too! For his hair, Sandoval blow drys it after he showers and uses a flat iron to achieve the perfect look.
Once his grooming routine is complete, he kicks back and watches the rest of the episodes left in the season, so he can be ready for the reunion. He also recommends "a good cardio session" before the reunion and getting 12 hours of sleep.
Ariana Madix
Ariana took a low-key approach for getting reunion-ready. In the video above, she shared that she opted to do her own makeup beforehand and explained, “That was pretty much that.” Still, she shared that post-reunion, she ended up with a zit.
Tune in to part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion on Monday May 13 at 9/8c.
