As Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz prepare to open their new restaurant and bar, Katie Maloney-Schwartz wants in on the action.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

"I wanna get involved," Katie told Schwartz on the September 28 Season 9 premiere of Vanderpump Rules. "Since we're not having a baby, this could be like our baby. First of all, I have more restaurant experience than you do so I'm actually far more qualified."

As it turns out, Katie's hospitality experience began long before her days at SUR. "I started working at a f--king restaurant when I was 13 years old. My mom ran a restaurant my entire life," she said in an interview. "[Tom and Tom] would be idiots not to take advantage of my help. Are you kidding me?"

As Katie jokingly told Schwartz, she wanted her job title to be "Head Bitch in Charge" of the new establishment. However, Schwartz saw one major issue with potentially bringing his wife on board. "I know she doesn't like people and the restaurant industry revolves around people," he said. "So that's a thing."

During the episode, Schwartz and Sandoval spoke to Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd about their new venture. The theme, Sandoval explained, is "James Turrell, light artist, went over to his grandma's house and took some acid...It's really cool."
