Lala Kent Asks for Humane Society Donations in Lieu of Bridal Shower Gifts
The Vanderpump Rules bride-to-be is forgoing a new china set in favor of a charitable cause.
As seen on Vanderpump Rules, Brittany Cartwright's bridal shower was a pastel-hued celebration of love — and of fairy tales. Decorated with petal-pink balloons, paper fans, and a sign that read I Believe in Fairies, the party could have taken place in a storybook. There were even costumed princesses mingling with the guests.
Meanwhile, Lala Kent's bridal shower is also coming up. And though princesses don't seem quite as on brand for this bride-to-be, her party will have an ending that allows some four-legged creatures to live happily ever after.
The Give Them Lala Beauty founder recently shared an image of her bridal-shower invite on Instagram. (Spoiler alert: It's just a little bit extra.) Modeled after a magazine cover, the invitation features the Utah native modeling winged eyeliner, a glossy, tomato-red pout, and crimson gloves.
The beauty look itself is a sight to behold, but something at the bottom of the invitation also caught our eye. A small note reads: "In lieu of gifts please donate to the Humane Society of Utah." The ask is a sweet way for Lala and her pals to give back to her home state — but it's also a practical decision.
The "Boy" singer is already living with her future husband, Randall Emmett, in a fully stocked Bel Air mansion, and the couple isn't exactly scrounging for dishes and bathroom towels. Plus, who needs a pasta maker when you have a full-time personal chef?
